We had a wonderful trip to Indonesia and Yogyakarta. Julian picked us up at our hotel for an early trip to Borobudur Temple. He waited patiently for us to exit as we tried to find the exit from a maze of vendors. After lunch, We later toured Prambanan. He had many suggestions of places to visit. He is very passionate about sharing his country with visitors. After our stay, he gave us a ride to the airport. With his connections, he shared a name of a driver in Bali. Indonesia is beautiful.

We travelled with The Java Tours in July 2025. Our most friendly driver, Julian, was an excellent guide in the Yogyakarta region. He showed us the obvious must-sees such as the Borobudur and Prambanan tempels, but also took us to smaller places of interest such as a Kopi Luwak producer and excellent restaurants serving local food. Moreover, he managed to drive us safely through the truly chaotic Indonesian traffic, an astonishing accomplishment!

My boyfriend and I hade a great time visiting all over Java, starting from Jakarta and ending just on front of Bali. Tours were very well organised, I particularly enjoyed Tumpak Sewu waterfalls with Mr. Irul. Our driver was always on time and spoke good English, moreover he was always available on phone and kindly gave me nearly every night the wake up call to make sure I wouldn’t miss the tour. The drives were very long but Mr. Julian always made sure to stop for toilets and coffee. The car was confortable. Overall we had a great experience and Mr. Julian has always been very reliable and sincere, no hidden fees or uncomfortable stuff like that.
